Omaha Wedding Photographer | St. John’s Creighton / The Omar | Jay + Stephanie
When you’re an Omaha Wedding Photographer, there’s a few things on your bucket list. One of those things for us was to shoot a winter wedding at St. John’s Creighton and actually have it snow. And it did snow! The most beautifully delightful, light and fluffy snowfall made this day just feel magical. But to pull off a beautiful winter wedding, in the snow, you have to have a couple that can handle it. Of course outdoor bride and groom portraits in the snow are lovely, but they come at a price. The price of having to look natural and happy.. and like you’re having the best time in the world. All while actually feeling freezing cold and miserable. Stephanie and Jay killed it.
We have a lot to say about Jay and Stephanie.
Jay and Stephanie had quite the day! It was extremely cold and snowy so the only time we got with them for portraits outside was a few minutes after the first look and a minute or two here and there as we transitioned from location to location. It was challenging and cold, but the day was also a dream to photograph. There’s nothing better than a bride and groom that just can’t hide their mad love for each other.
These two had a beautiful ceremony and then took the trolly around downtown Omaha to several locations (The Dubliner Pub and Don & Millies), that had a lot to do with them getting married. They took us around and showed us where they carved their names in a table at the Dub and where they and a group of close friends had initialed the side of a booth at Don & Millies, back when they were dating. We loved how sentimental these two were! Jay + Stephanie, your day was amazing and your friends and family are first class. Thank you so much for having us and congratulations on happily ever after!
